It’s always been tough to craft a brand message that sounds authentic on social media. And as more and more companies look to use influencer marketing, it’s getting even harder.
So we decided not to bother.
Instead, we stepped away from the Instagram search bar and contacted our real-life friends in the action sports and outdoor adventure-loving community to put together a select group of inspiring global ambassadors for this particular adidas Outdoor campaign.
A Welsh mountain bike champion retiring from the sport she loves. The Spanish trail runner managing a heart condition. The German photographer finding salvation off-line. A US adventurer overcoming paralysis.
Then we let them tell their own stories. No brand diktat. No minimum follower counts. Just their own narrative, front and centre. The highs, the lows and everything in between.
We then helped them spread their truth far and wide through a targeted social media and PR outreach campaign, helping to inspire other creators and adventure-lovers around the world.
